Make your mark.
Want to add a little extra personalization to your items?
We can activate your event space and use a heat press to foil attendees’ initials on Glad & Young products. All products travel with us to event activations, minimizing logistical tracking on your end.
On-site personalization will leave a memorable impression on your guests, and they will take home a gift that is beautiful and functional.
Why bring Glad & Young Studio to my event?
High-end gifts guests love.
The last thing you want to do is gift items that end up in a junk drawer. With a high-end, intentional gift, you will be giving a product people will want to keep and use.
Minimal logistics.
You’re in charge of the fun stuff, and we take care of everything else. Our dedicated team in Atlanta hand-crafts each gift, and we bring those products from the studio to your event.
Mix & mingle.
While we personalize, you can connect with potential new clients. This is a huge win at trade shows and conferences!
It’s all in the details.

To give a high end finish to our customized leather items, we use a foil stamping method. This is achieved by using a press machine heated to about 150 degrees, a roll of gold foil, and brass letter sets.
Each letter is individually loaded into a “jaw” and then locked into place in the machine. After about 30-45 seconds of heating up, the letters are hot enough to melt the foil into the leather.
And voila! You now have a custom, finished product and a very happy guest!

Blind embossing is a practice in which a brass stamp is pressed into a material, leather in our case.
Using our 9-ton clicker press we are able to create textures and shapes and make our leather goods uniquely yours.
Blind embossing can be used on most of our harder leathers, but classic veg tanned is our favorite. We prefer not to blind emboss on marbled leather as the details may not show up as well.
Blind embossing cannot be done on chrome tanned leather.

There are two different ways to customize your items with us: designs and personalization.
A design is a logo or artwork file that is made into a stamp to then be foiled or blind embossed on products. This is usually done during the production process, and is included in the cost of the item. A one-time setup fee is required to have the stamp made.
Personalization is when you add up to three letters onto the item in addition to a design. This is traditionally done in an activation format, but can be done during production. It is an additional cost and no setup fee is required.
